I am assuming because of the middle initial “H” and the “2nd” John H. Boland 2nd as it is written in the article is the same person as the name listed in the October 5, 1918
Honor Roll List as John Henry Bolan. John Henry Bolan 2nd would have been in service for the entire war, where or for what branch of service, I do not know at
this time.
